The NavPod GP1302 InstrumentPod Pre-Cut for 3 Instruments is a purpose-built marine instrument mounting solution designed specifically for Simrad IS42, B&G Triton, and AP44 square-hole instruments mounted on 9.5" wide guards. This pre-cut pod consolidates three separate instrument displays into a single, organized mounting location at the helm or companionway, eliminating the need for multiple individual mounting brackets and reducing visual clutter across the dashboard.
The GP1302 accepts instruments with square mounting holes compatible with these industry-standard systems, allowing seamless integration with existing Simrad and B&G navigation equipment. This pre-cut configuration means the pod arrives ready for direct installation—no custom fabrication required. The mounting system is flexible: the InstrumentPod can be mounted on a StraightGuard for direct vertical placement, or combined with a Double Bend AngleGuard to position the instrument pod on the upper vertical section with a SailPod mounted below on the angled section. The pod also works with the SK312 Companionway Mount for below-deck or protected installations in compact cabin spaces.
NavPod systems are engineered for offshore and coastal cruising environments where instrument protection and dashboard organization are critical. The consolidated three-instrument configuration is ideal for sailboat and powerboat operators who need core navigation, wind, and autopilot data visible from a single helm location. This mounting approach reduces cable runs, improves serviceability, and preserves sight lines across the helm station. The GP1302 is compatible with NavPod's modular guard system, enabling progressive instrument expansion as your boat's electronics suite grows.
