Boss Marine waketower speaker systems are built to deliver superior performance in the toughest conditions. Polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds are impervious to moisture.  A blast of salt water will not hurt these speakers.  A protective coating is applied to block UV rays maintaining material integrity and keeping the speakers looking new.
