The Sheriff is a .22 caliber single-action revolver. Built on the frame of the popular Earl, the Sheriff has a slightly shorter 2.5" barrel. The most characteristic trait of this model is the rectangular shaped cylinder pin, which lines perfectly and compliments the octagonal barrel.
