The BG-17 BattleGrip is constructed with a soft, textured polymer that provides positive acquisition in wet or gloved conditions while reducing felt recoil through material dampening. A hidden interior storage cavity accommodates batteries, small springs, cleaning implements, and—notably—a complete M4 bolt assembly, eliminating the need for external pouch storage during patrol or training operations.
