The Streamlight TLR Remote Pressure Switch Plug Straight enables operators and tactical shooters to deploy handheld TLR-series mounted lights with remote activation capability. This accessory transforms a rail-mounted TLR1 or TLR2 flashlight into a remote-controlled system, allowing the shooter to maintain weapon control while managing target illumination independently—a critical advantage during precision work, room clearing, or low-light patrol scenarios.
The straight plug configuration interfaces directly with compatible TLR1 and TLR2 series lights via a rotating quick-disconnect connector sealed with an O-ring. This design ensures reliable connection integrity in field conditions and allows rapid attachment or removal without tools. The included rail-mounted pressure switch assembly attaches via provided clips to a long gun forend, positioning the actuator within natural thumb reach during normal shooting grip. Eight inches of cord provides sufficient routing flexibility across common AR-platform and tactical rifle geometries while maintaining strain relief at connection points.
This accessory serves operators running weapon-mounted lights who require momentary or constant activation without breaking grip or sight picture. The remote switch format proves especially valuable in tactical applications where the shooter's dominant hand remains on the trigger or support hand remains on the foregrip. Law enforcement, military personnel, and serious civilian shooters using TLR-equipped carbines, short-barreled rifles, or tactical shotguns find this solution reduces operational friction during dynamic scenarios. The quick-disconnect mechanism supports rapid platform transitions when deploying the same light across multiple rifles.
