The SureFire Filter Assembly for 1.125 or 1 inch Bezel Red Blue Green Lens (FM 70) is a flip-filter system designed for tactical flashlights that need rapid lens interchange without removing the light from operational position. This assembly includes four precision-molded lenses—red, green, blue, and black-out—allowing operators to switch from colored illumination to white light instantly or block light output entirely when tactical concealment is required.
The FM 70 employs a flip mechanism that cycles through available filters without disassembly, preserving light positioning and sight picture alignment during mission-critical operations. Two included rubber grommets enable compatibility with both 1.0-inch and 1.125-inch diameter flashlight bezels, accommodating the most common SureFire tactical light heads. The black-out lens snaps open easily when full illumination is needed, preventing accidental light discharge during stealth operations while remaining accessible under gloved hand operation. This compact design (4 x 1.75 x 5.5 inches) adds minimal weight (0.1 lbs) to your light package.
The red, green, and blue filters serve distinct operational roles: red for preserving night vision and low-light navigation, green for distance visibility with reduced eye fatigue, and blue for forensic or identification tasks. Law enforcement, military, search-and-rescue, and armed security personnel benefit from this multi-spectrum capability during variable-lighting conditions. The FM 70 is compatible with most standard SureFire tactical flashlights featuring compatible bezel sizes, though it excludes SureFire Vampire Series lights due to head configuration differences.
