Description

The Magpul AFG1 Angled Foregrip is a purpose-built angled fore grip designed for M1913 Picatinny rail systems found on modern rifle handguards. Unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the AFG1 positions the shooter's hand high on the centerline of bore axis, a geometry that accounts for natural body mechanics and significantly reduces felt recoil while improving weapon control during rapid fire.

At 0.31 lbs and measuring 3 x 1.75 x 6.5 inches, the AFG1 adds minimal weight while providing a comfortable, stable interface that reduces hand fatigue during extended shooting sessions. The angled design promotes a more ergonomic grip angle compared to straight vertical grips, allowing shooters to maintain consistent pressure and achieve faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The grip is compatible with any M1913 Picatinny-railed handguard on AR-pattern rifles, 308 platforms, and other tactical carbines configured with standard rail systems.

The Magpul AFG1 is favored by law enforcement, military personnel, and serious civilian shooters who prioritize recoil management and weapon control in training, duty, and competition environments. It works equally well on short-barreled rifles (SBRs), precision rifles, and mid-length carbines where natural point-of-aim and recoil mitigation are critical. Shooters looking to improve their ergonomics without adding unnecessary bulk will find the AFG1 a practical, proven solution that delivers measurable improvements in accuracy and handling under fire.
