The GROCO 1" Fresh Water Strainer with Plastic Basket is a marine-grade intake filtration system designed to protect fresh water distribution pumps and systems from sediment, debris, and particulates. The 1-inch port size accommodates standard marine plumbing connections, making it a direct fit for recreational vessels, RVs, and off-grid water systems requiring reliable particulate removal before water reaches sensitive pump equipment.

Construction features a durable white nylon strainer head paired with a clear plastic sight glass that allows visual inspection of filter condition without disassembly. The sight glass unscrews for quick access to the plastic basket filter element, enabling rapid cleaning and maintenance in the field. An included mount bracket simplifies installation in tight spaces. The plastic basket design resists corrosion in marine environments and provides fine mesh filtration to catch debris as small as typical sand particles while maintaining adequate flow rate for pump operation.
