The NcSTAR AR15 Armorer's Barrel Wrench is a single-tool answer to most of the torque work on an AR-15, M4, or M16. It handles GI barrel nuts, free-float barrel nuts with GI spacing, DD barrel nuts, and YHM 1¾" spanner duties, so a builder can mount a barrel and lock it down without juggling three separate tools. We stock it for shooters assembling uppers at the bench, armorers servicing duty guns, and anyone who would rather buy one labeled steel wrench than a drawer full of single-purpose ones. Pair it with the right AR-15 barrel nut and you have the core of a barrel job.
This is the Gen 2 version, built from steel and covered by NcSTAR's patented design (US Pat. # D703,502). Beyond the barrel nut faces it carries an A2 (¾") and 5/8 flash suppressor wrench, an M4 collapsible stock castle nut wrench, an A2 buffer tube wrench, and a flat blade screwdriver sized for the A2 buttstock plate. It accepts both 1/2" and 3/8" drive for use with a torque wrench, and includes a lower receiver push pin tool, a 1/4" hex bit drive socket, a 1911 barrel bushing wrench, and a bottle opener. Every tool position is clearly labeled. Per manufacturer specifications it measures 12.9 inches long and weighs 13.0 ounces.
Reach for this wrench any time you torque a barrel nut to spec, swap a flash hider, stake a castle nut on a collapsible stock, or chase down a loose buffer tube. The 1/2" and 3/8" drive sockets let you put a calibrated torque wrench behind the barrel nut instead of guessing. The 1911 bushing wrench and push pin tool make it useful past the AR platform as well. It earns a spot in any build kit.
