The VLTOR Single Attachment Endplate Hook Style (SASE) is a direct-replacement sling endplate designed for ambidextrous rifle operation. This robust steel component mounts at the receiver's endplate position, providing a reliable anchor point for single-point sling attachments compatible with hook-style sling hardware. It is particularly beneficial for operators who require quick sling deployment across either shoulder.
Constructed entirely from steel and featuring a Manganese Phosphate finish, the SASE offers excellent corrosion resistance suitable for extended field use and adverse environments. The manganese phosphate coating provides a durable, matte surface that resists salt-air degradation. Installation is straightforward, as the endplate includes an indexing washer and fastening screw, eliminating the need for additional hardware sourcing.
The compact dimensions (2.5 x 0.25 x 3 inches) ensure minimal profile addition to the rifle rear, and the 0.15 lb weight contributes negligibly to overall system balance. The ambidextrous design accommodates both right and left-handed shooters without requiring modification or reversal.
