The Maxpedition Falcon II Backpack is a 23-liter (1400 cubic inch) medium-bodied pack built for officers, military personnel, and outdoor operators who need organized carry without the bulk of a full ruck. It fills the gap between a daypack and an extended-ops rucksack, which makes it a practical choice for patrol shifts, training cycles, or multi-day field movements where pack discipline matters. Construction runs to Maxpedition's standard: a body of 1050-denier water- and abrasion-resistant nylon treated with DuPont Teflon, sewn with high tensile strength composite nylon thread. The main compartment measures 8.5 inches wide by 17 inches tall with an internal loop field, and dual-directional YKK zippers allow full clamshell opening for fast packing. It accommodates one 100oz/3L hydration reservoir, with 1-inch elastic loops routing the tube. The 2.5-inch adjustable padded shoulder straps carry five channels of PALS webbing and use #AS-100 closed-cell foam. A 1-inch sternum strap and a removable 1.5-inch waist strap stabilize heavier loads, while two 2-inch webbing loops and two 1-inch D-rings expand attachment options. Layered independent compartments add multiple pockets and external PALS points.
