The Bushnell Low Rise Mount (MPN T126LOWMNT) is a dedicated base for shooters running a Bushnell TRS-26 or any T-1 footprint red dot who want the optic sitting as close to the bore line as possible. It is built for lower-mounted setups: drop-comb shotgun stocks, rimfire rifles, and handguns with mounting rails where a tall riser puts the dot too high for a natural cheek weld. This mount measures just 4.4mm tall from the rail top to the optic cradle, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black anodize for corrosion resistance. It ships with a steel clamp-bar, four T15 screws to secure the optic, and a single crossbolt clamp. Because it uses one crossbolt rather than a recoil lug profile, it seats on both Weaver and Picatinny style rails, giving you flexibility across receivers and rail sections. The T-1 footprint means it accepts the TRS-26 and other Aimpoint Micro T-1 compatible optics. The low profile keeps weight and bulk down while putting the aiming point where a low comb stock wants it, rather than forcing a heads-up shooting position.
Reach for this base when you are mounting a micro red dot on a shotgun with a fixed low comb, a 10/22 style rimfire, or a railed handgun and a standard riser sits too tall. The lower deck height speeds up acquisition because the dot falls into view as the gun comes up. It is built around the Aimpoint Micro T-1 footprint and is specifically designed for the Bushnell TRS-26. Any red dot sharing that T-1 mounting pattern will seat on the cradle using the included steel clamp-bar and four T15 screws.
