On a tilting-barrel pistol the Nielsen device (the booster) is what keeps the action cycling, but on a subgun or pistol caliber carbine that booster movement works against you. This spacer replaces the booster spring and locks out that movement, so the suppressor sits solid on a fixed barrel. It's the right call for anyone running a CGS can on an MP5-pattern host, a roller-delayed PCC, or any subgun-style platform.
The spacer is machined from steel with a black finish, built to drop into the same booster housing the spring previously occupied. Once installed, the suppressor mounts rigidly instead of floating on the recoiling Nielsen device, which is what fixed-barrel firearms need for consistent point of impact and dependable cycling.
