Machined from black steel, the Rugged Universal Cage includes everything needed for installation: the cage/booster housing, a R.U.M. multi-tool, retainer, and spring. The booster system is the critical component here, as tilting-barrel pistols require a Nielsen device to cycle reliably when suppressed. Without a booster, the added weight of a suppressor prevents the barrel from unlocking properly, causing malfunctions. This kit solves that problem for hub-threaded suppressors that weren't originally designed with pistol use in mind.
