The FiTECH FUEL INJECTION Mean Street system (MPN 30008) is a throttle-body fuel injection setup built for engines making 200 to 800 horsepower. It's aimed at builders moving away from a carburetor who want self-tuning fuel management without a standalone harness or laptop. The system mounts directly to any 4-barrel intake manifold in a square-bore pattern, so it drops onto small-block and big-block V8s already wearing a typical 4150-style top end. With the onboard computer and pressure regulator built into the throttle body, this kit handles the metering work that used to take jets, power valves, and constant tinkering to dial in.
The die-cast aluminum throttle body wears a matte black finish and carries eight injectors flow-matched at 80 to 100 lb, enough fuel capacity to support up to 1200 HP worth of flow even though the system is rated to 800 HP. The computer mounts on the throttle body itself, which keeps wiring minimal and skips any firewall modification. A wideband O2 sensor with annular swirl wet-flow technology feeds the self-tuning algorithm, so the engine learns from your driving and trims the fuel curve on its own. Operating pressure runs 58 PSI. The internal 2.5-bar MAP sensor is boost-ready to 21.7 PSI, and the system handles nitrous, boost control, ignition timing through a CDI box, fan control, and 4 gigabytes of data logging. A handheld touch-screen controller and windshield mount come in the box.
