The SNOW PERFORMANCE Water/Methanol Kit Gas Stage III EFI Universal (SNO-310) is a boost cooler system engineered to lower intake air temperatures and suppress detonation on turbocharged and supercharged gasoline engines. This universal EFI water injection kit delivers precisely metered water-methanol solution directly into the intake manifold, cooling the charge air and preventing knock in high-boost applications where engine management relies on electronic fuel injection control.
The Stage 3 configuration features a 3-quart capacity reservoir that handles extended track sessions and street duty without frequent refilling. The boost-controlled injection system varies flow rate with engine load, delivering more coolant charge during hard acceleration and less during cruise, maximizing efficiency. EFI signal integration eliminates the need for mechanical fuel pressure switches, offering cleaner tuning compatibility with modern engine control units. The kit arrives complete with all hoses, fittings, and electrical connectors required for installation on universally configured gasoline powerplants.
Water-methanol injection is preferred by serious tuners running 20+ psi of boost because it cools intake charge temperatures more effectively than fuel alone, allowing higher ignition timing and safer peak boost levels without sacrificing reliability. The methanol blend component raises the system's octane effect, enabling leaner fuel curves and better combustion stability under sustained boost. This Stage 3 kit is particularly suited to street performance and road-course work where charge-air coolers reach thermal saturation but adding size isn't practical. It works across turbocharged four-cylinders, twin-turbo platforms, supercharged V-8s, and other EFI-controlled forced-induction engines.
