The tent features a 20D 380T nylon ripstop fly with a 2000 mm silicone/polyurethane coating that resists UV degradation. The floor is made of the same ripstop material but with a heavier 3000 mm coating, ensuring protection against ground moisture and water pressure during heavy rain or snow melt.

With factory-sealed seams on both the fly and floor, the Helix 1 effectively eliminates seam wicking, a common cause of internal condensation failure in field conditions.
