The Badger Universal Safety Selector is an ambidextrous control component designed to enhance safety manipulation for both left and right-handed shooters. This selector addresses the needs of all operators by providing a solution that minimizes selector obstruction during use, making it a versatile upgrade for various shooting positions.
Machined from 4140 hardened steel, this selector can be installed in either right or left configuration. Its design balances practical ergonomics with visual feedback, featuring a raised lever on the offhand side with high-visibility paint marking for tactile and visual confirmation of the selector position, which is critical during low-light operations or rapid manipulation drills.
The Badger Universal Safety Selector retains the original GI-profile lever geometry on the control side, preserving the dexterity and muscle memory shooters have developed with standard configurations. This dual-sided approach ensures intuitive function regardless of dominant hand, allowing shooters to maintain familiarity without relearning controls. Its symmetrical control architecture effectively addresses the operational gap faced by many shooters.
