The TRANS-DAPT 340-360 MOPAR A Body Swap Kit is a bolt-on motor mount assembly designed for engine swaps in Mopar A-body platforms from 1967–1972. This kit provides the structural interface between modern or alternative engine blocks and the original chassis mounting points, eliminating the need for custom fabrication and significantly reducing installation time during engine conversion projects.
The kit consists of steel brackets, rubber isolation pads, and all necessary hardware for a complete bolt-on installation. Steel construction provides the rigidity required to handle engine torque loads, while rubber isolators reduce vibration transmission to the frame and cabin—a critical consideration in swap builds where engine weight or balance characteristics differ from the original powerplant. The black finish resists corrosion during extended storage and use. All components are engineered to mate directly with 340 and 360 cubic-inch Mopar engines, simplifying sourcing and assembly.
This swap kit addresses a common bottleneck in A-body engine conversion projects—the motor mount interface. Builders restoring or upgrading 1967–1972 Dodge, Plymouth, or Chrysler A-body vehicles with Mopar V8 powerplants rely on this kit to eliminate guesswork and maintain proper engine positioning. The kit's proven design is widely used in restomod builds, performance upgrades, and period-correct engine swaps where OEM mounting points must be preserved or adapted.
TRANS-DAPT has been a recognized supplier of engine swap hardware for decades, with products engineered around OEM specifications and real-world swap requirements. This kit weighs 6.12 lbs and ships complete with all brackets, pads, and fasteners required for installation.
