The Allstar Performance Flat Tab 1/8in w/ 1/4in Slot 4-pack (ALL60088) is a steel chassis mounting bracket set designed for welding or bolting into custom vehicle frames, race car chassis, or fabrication projects. These flat tabs are ideal for various applications, including suspension pickup points and custom bracket fabrication in hot rod, race car, and off-road vehicle builds.
Each bracket features a 1/4-inch slotted mounting hole drilled perpendicular to a base width that is not specified, allowing adjustable positioning along the slot before final fastening. The 1/8-inch steel thickness provides structural rigidity while remaining lightweight enough for precision welding without warping. Manufactured in natural (uncoated) steel, these tabs accept standard Grade 8 bolts or can be TIG/MIG welded for permanent frame integration.
This four-pack is particularly useful when building multi-point suspension systems, mounting fuel cell brackets, or fabricating custom engine bay brackets. The slotted hole design eliminates the need for multiple hole locations during alignment and setup, offering a significant advantage during initial frame assembly when suspension geometry is being verified.
