The MOROSO 8qt Oil Pan – Aluminum – SBC Drag Race is purpose-built for serious drag racing competitors and high-performance street machines running Small Block Chevrolet engines. This pan exists because stock oil pans simply cannot handle the sustained acceleration, hard cornering, and violent engine movement that comes with drag strip competition. When you're launching at full throttle, traditional pans starve the engine of oil as fuel sloshes and aeration occurs—a recipe for catastrophic bearing failure in the middle of a run.
