Description

The MOROSO GM LS 7qt Steel Oil Pan (Dart LS Skirted Blocks) is a specialized rear-sump road race oil pan designed for high-performance LS-series engine builds. This 7-quart steel pan is engineered to provide increased oil capacity while maintaining a low-profile skirted design that fits Dart LS blocks, ensuring essential ground clearance for both street and race applications.

Constructed from durable steel, this oil pan features a black powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. It includes a 6-inch depth and a louvered windage tray, which minimizes aerodynamic drag from the rotating crankshaft and helps maintain consistent oil pressure during high-performance driving conditions. The rear-sump configuration positions the pickup away from weight transfer zones, reducing the risk of oil starvation during aggressive maneuvers.

Ideal for road racers, weekend warriors, and engine builders, this oil pan is designed for LS engine swaps in F-body Chevrolet platforms (1967–92) and is compatible with Dart LS skirted blocks. Its additional oil capacity over stock pans enhances lubrication and cooling, making it a critical component for maintaining performance under high RPM and lateral g-forces.
