Description

The GM LS1/LS6 Steel Oil Pan - 7qt. by Moroso is a purpose-built lubrication solution for serious LS engine builders and performance enthusiasts who demand reliability under high-stress conditions. Whether you're running a naturally aspirated LS1 or turbocharged LS6, factory oil pans often fall short during aggressive track driving, road racing, or heavily modified applications where cornering forces and sustained acceleration can starve the engine of oil.

This 7-quart steel pan provides the extra capacity and geometry needed to maintain consistent oil pressure and flow to the crankshaft, connecting rods, and cam bearings when stock solutions fail. Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the Moroso design features optimized baffling and sump placement that reduces aeration and slosh during cornering, acceleration, and braking events that would otherwise expose the oil pickup to air.

The deeper 7-quart capacity acts as a thermal buffer, allowing oil to cool more effectively and maintain viscosity stability during extended driving sessions or dyno pulls. This oil pan fits both LS1 and LS6 variants, making it ideal for engine swaps, performance restorations, and competition vehicles where OEM specifications would otherwise limit performance.
