This Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller cam features 0.540-inch intake lift and 0.562-inch exhaust lift with a 288-degree intake duration and 296-degree exhaust duration profile, optimized around a 110-degree lobe separation angle (LSA). The hydraulic roller design eliminates the friction penalty of flat-tappet cams while providing superior valve control and reduced wear on lifters and pushrods.
The 2800 to 6100 RPM power band is carefully calibrated for street and strip applications, allowing the engine to pull strong from low-speed cruising through peak horsepower delivery. The SBC XR288HR is ideal for Small Block Chevy engines, making it effective for fuel-injected or carbureted setups.
