The CAA Gen 2 Micro Conversion Kit in tan turns a compact Taurus pistol into a braced, shoulder-stable shooting platform without permanent modification to the gun. It fits the Taurus G2C, G3, G3C, G3X, G3XL and PT111 G2 Millennium per CAA's specifications, so one chassis covers most of the Taurus G-series lineup. This is the Taurus Mck a shooter reaches for when they want more control, a longer sight radius and rail space for optics and lights, while keeping the option to pull the host pistol back out in seconds. The Gen 2 platform uses an improved frame-lock and spring that speeds up installing and removing the host pistol. An aluminum top picatinny rail runs the length of the chassis for optic and red dot mounting, and the design accommodates suppressor height sights. CAA built in a charging handle with increased surface contact on the slide, an extended stabilizer that allows firing in the folded and locked position, and a right-folding stock arm brace that locks closed for transport. The rear door extends back an additional 15 degrees for easier handgun insertion and extraction. It is suppressor friendly and clears the CAA 274 suppressor up to 1.38 inches in diameter. An improved spare magazine holder with its own mag catch and release button keeps a reload on the chassis.
