The V2 improves on the original Pro Compensator with a contoured porting design that redirects gas more effectively, an enlarged guide rod channel for reliable cycling, and a redesigned mounting system that installs and removes securely without thread-locking compound. The body is machined from aluminum and wears a black Type 3 hard anodized finish for wear resistance. Standard versions weigh roughly 1 oz, while the Gen 5 variant runs about 1.7 oz per manufacturer specifications. Thread spec is 1/2x28, the standard 9mm pattern. When installed on a G19, the comp clears most G34 holsters, so shooters can keep their existing competition rig. It ships in black to match factory and aftermarket slides.
