The Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch is a mil-spec compatible component designed to enhance bolt manipulation on AR-15 and M16/M4-pattern rifles. This augmented bolt catch expands the engagement surface area beyond standard mil-spec dimensions, making it easier to lock the bolt to the rear during press checks, malfunction clearances, and administrative handling.
The extended design accommodates both right-handed and left-handed shooters without requiring a grip break or support-hand repositioning.
