The KNS Non-Rotate Trigger and Hammer Pin for Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 is a precision-engineered component designed to eliminate pin walk during firing. Unlike standard AR-15 pins, this KNS model is purpose-built for the M&P15-22 platform and prevents the common issue of trigger and hammer pins shifting under recoil impulse, which can degrade trigger performance and create unsafe conditions downrange.
These pins withstand both semi-automatic and full-automatic fire, meeting the demands of high-volume training and rapid-fire scenarios. The design carries an 11 inch-pound maximum torque specification with an 8 inch-pound suggested operating range, requiring careful installation to avoid over-tightening. Once properly set, the non-rotate geometry locks the pins in position, eliminating the need for traditional roll pins or secondary retention methods that can complicate disassembly and maintenance.
