The A-Frame design uses a pure copper jacket with a lead core bonded through Swift's proprietary process, which is what drives the 95%+ weight retention figure. A progressive jacket taper controls the expansion rate across velocity, so the bullet opens reliably down to a minimum impact of 1,650 feet per second yet holds together at 3,000+ feet per second. Expansion runs to roughly 2.2x the original caliber. The soft semi-spitzer lead nose (AF/SS profile) resists deformation under magazine recoil in a dangerous-game rifle, and the wraparound base jacket protects the rear of the bullet to keep weight intact through deep penetration. Sectional density sits at .305 with a ballistic coefficient of .325.
