The Viridian RFX1 Micro Green Dot is the only optic purpose-built for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 — unveiled at SHOT Show 2026 as the smallest green dot sight currently in production. It solves a problem that has frustrated Bodyguard 2.0 owners since the pistol launched: the gun has no optic-ready slide, no factory cut, and no standard mounting footprint, leaving owners forced to choose between milling the slide, stacking adapter plates, or going without a dot. The RFX1 requires none of that — it drops directly into the existing dovetail channel by replacing the factory rear sight, with zero permanent modification, no additional hardware, and installation under 20 minutes.

CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum to match the Bodyguard 2.0’s slide geometry exactly, the RFX1 sits flush and looks factory-fitted rather than bolted on — critical for holster compatibility and concealed carry. The 3 MOA green dot rides on a 16×15mm fully multi-coated glass lens that stays bright and clear from low light through direct sunlight without washout. Viridian’s INSTANT-ON® motion activation powers the optic the instant the gun moves and shuts it off when stationary, and an auto-brightness sensor continuously reads ambient light to adjust dot intensity automatically — no manual button cycling needed. The included CR1632 battery delivers up to 30,000 hours of run time under normal carry conditions.

At 0.53 oz and 0.81 inches wide, the RFX1 is the smallest reflex sight currently in production, keeping the Bodyguard 2.0 slim enough for pocket carry without adding meaningful bulk or weight. The aluminum housing is shockproof to 1,000G and IPX4 water-resistant — fully functional in rain and real carry conditions across a -4°F to 130°F operating range. This is a Bodyguard 2.0 exclusive and does not fit any other pistol platform. The package includes the optic, dovetail mounting plate, CR1632 battery, wrench set, and cleaning cloth, backed by Viridian’s limited lifetime warranty.
