The kit ships with 2 fl. oz. (59 ml) of resin, 2 fl. oz. (59 ml) of hardener, and 7/8 fl. oz. (26 ml) of release agent, mixed at an error-proof 1-to-1 ratio by volume. The gel carries nylon constituents that add thin-section strength and shock resistance, and it cures with minimal shrinkage so the bedding holds its dimensions under recoil. The compound is oil, acid, and solvent proof once cured, and it can be metalized by blending in aluminum, steel, or stainless particles to match the surrounding metal. Use this kit when you are skim-bedding a recoil lug, pillar bedding a hunting rifle, or filling an inletted stock around the action to lock everything into a single repeatable position.
