The green laser runs in the 510-532nm range at 5mW, which the human eye reads as far brighter than a red diode at the same power, making it easier to pick up in daylight and at distance. The 550-lumen output runs about one hour constant-on at full brightness per Viridian specifications. Power comes from the SAFECharge internal polymer lithium battery that recharges through a magnetic connector in roughly 90 minutes, so there are no loose cells to swap under stress. The body is machined from 6061 aluminum and carries an IPX4 water-resistance rating.
